Privacy Policy Statement

MilClub is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. We do not use "cookies" to track or monitor your visits in any way.

INFORMATION VOLUNTARILY PROVIDED BY YOU

In the course of using our website, you may choose to provide us with information to help us serve your needs. For example, you may send us electronic mail (via e-mail or through our web forms) to request information, make a donation, etc. Any personally identifiable information you use to register or send us will be used only for the purpose indicated. Requests for information will be directed to the appropriate Admin or Staff to respond to the request, and may be recorded to help us update our site to better respond to similar requests, but this information will never be disclosed without your permission. The information we collect and maintain is used solely for identity and donation recording.

MilClub does not maintain any credit card information. For online donations or membership subscriptions, all financial and contact information needed to complete an online donation/subscription is collected through our third-party vendor, PayPal, which authorizes credit card donations made to our organization. For details about Paypal’s privacy practices, please consult their website directly.

Donors may choose to donate anonymously.

INFORMATION SHARING

MilClub will not share any personal information on its members or its registered troops (including the names, addresses and locations of deployed troops) outside of our organization. Access to personal information on donors, Admin/Staff members, affiliates, sponsors, troops and their family members and other volunteers is restricted to the Admin/Owners.

We will not sell, share, rent, trade, disclose or otherwise distribute your personal information or the information you provide about someone else (including name, e-mail, address, phone number, address, affiliation or other personal identifiable information) outside of our organization without your consent, except to the extent required by law.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We also use IP address tracking to omit and ban certain parties that have been responsible for abuse due to attempted illegal actions or terms of service violations.

TROOP SIGN-UP INFORMATION

We respect and follow the Department of Defense and Operation Security’s guidelines and therefore will NOT disseminate any information on troops (including their name, unit, exact unit size and location, address, family’s names, family’s address and other sensitive information).

When a troop signs up through our online registration form, we ask him/her to provide some personal information in order to register as a member only. The information we receive is strictly confidential, safely stored in our secure databases and only disseminated to Admin/Owners who administrate our website. We ask for deployed country names to let members know who's currently deployed. Any troop may decline to submit personal information on our registration form, however, by using their hometown info.

CHILDREN'S IDENTITIES

We are especially concerned about protecting the privacy of children. We encourage parents to be involved in children’s explorations - especially on the internet. We respect the need to protect the identity of children who participate in supporting the troops. We only post children’s photos with their parent's permission and omit posting names of minors or other personally identifiable information.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

Our website provides links to other organization’s and businesses web sites. However, we do not control these sites and are not responsible for their availability, content, or delivery of services. External sites are not bound by our privacy policy; they may have their own policies or none at all. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each website collecting your personal information. To confirm you are no longer on MilClub's web site, please note the URL of the destination site.

NOTIFICATION OF CORRECTIONS / OPT-OUTS

If at any time you wish to change or modify any personal information you have previously provided to us, or if you wish to have your MilClub account closed, please contact us at:

We work hard to ensure that your experience on our website is a positive one. Should you have any questions regarding our privacy policy, please contact us. In the event that we change our privacy policy, we will immediately post those changes along with a dated notice, so you’re aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.
