I'm 22 Years Old.
I Live In San Antonio Texas Also Known As The 210.
I Was Born And Raised On The South Side.
I Graduated In 2005 From Luther Burbank High School.
I Was In The Orange Jacket Pep Squad Team For Three Years From 2001 Until 2003.
In 2004 Until I Graduated In 2005 I Was A Manager For The Boy's Varsity Basketball Team.
In September Of 1998 Until May 2008 I Became A Volunteer For The San Antonio Police Department Downtown Working In Homicide Doing Data Entry.
In August Of 2006 Until November 2008 Why I Was Still Volunteering For The Department.
I Decided To Go Back To My High School That Graduated From In 2005 To also Become a Volunteer.
I Became A Volunteer Assistant Aide Working With Kids With Special Needs In The Classroom.
In July 2008 I Also Started Volunteer Work At The USO Downtown.
I Work At The Front Desk Checking Everyones Military I.D.

Huge HUGS from me to you, Sheela! The day has arrived that you have been dreading......just remember your cousin is One of the Few, the Proud a United States Marine and he is WELL TRAINED! With that said I would be lying to you if I said you won't be worrying about him while he is deployed, you will, and you will have many sleepless nights...on those nights write him letters and let him know how PROUD you are of him! I am here for you if you ever need a shoulder to lean on. Try and STAY BUSY and continue to use this time doing all the great volunteer work that you do!Hugs~Barb

Sheela, my son, is a Marine and was deployed twice to Iraq. He is now doing his IRR time..So I certainly understand those emotions you are having from Sad to Proud, from Scared to Proud, crying one minute and smiling the next minute......but rest assured I "get it" and KNOW exactly how you are feeling.
