I love walking in the rain, camping, horse back riding, helping others. Walking on the beach and watching the sun rise and set. swimming,Tae-kwon-do, horseback riding, teaching. Target practice.Watching the animals in the forest. listening to the songs of the wind chiming through the trees, and being mesmerized by a flowers beauty.

I am proud of my father, brother's, cousins, and Niece's and Nephews that have both served and is now serving in our Country's Military.I am preparing both my son and myself for what is coming soon. He wants to be a medic and enlist to serve.We are the best, because we have the best in our Forces..God Bless all of the soldiers and their families that are fighting in the war..... Thank you for the sweet comments sorry I have been very busy with the holidays and such. My son just left my home on Sunday he deploys on 1/20...so I have been a little funky for the past couple of days. I will shake it off when I feel like it I guess but right now it just feels right to feel funky!
Joy, so sorry I know this is hard it is harder on us then them they are going home to the most beautiful place....it is the ones left behind to remember them that hurts so much but know she will be so happy and with her loved ones again i truly believe in that!!! love and prayers, michele
Im sorry to hear your grandma isnt doing so well. wow..94? My grandparents on both sides passed away when I was but a young child. I always wished I could remember what it was to have one. Im happy that you my friend have had yours for so long! It has to be a wonderful thing to share memories with someone who knew your own parent so well! Make all the memories you can with her now Joyce. God calls us all home when he is ready for us, as you know, so make the bestest memories you can. Even if it seems she may not understand or even know you. I always believed that they do know..somehow. You are always in my prayers my friend and I will include your grandma as well.

I got back from my parents today so I am trying to sort through things and hopefully I will soon be back in full swing. I haven't forgot that phone call I owe you and will try to make it either at the end of this week or early next.

Did ya doing anything special? Patrick and I entertained friends from his unit this weekend. It was really nice and my husband enjoyed cooking for them all! It was nice all the way around..and I was able to NOT cook! lol...My day off from cooking is when he does it!!! Thank God he likes to cook sometimes and doesnt mind helping out!! I go back to work today, and Im sure since I have been off the past 4 that I will have lots waiting on me when I get there. Its just one of them things! lol..Have a wonderful day sweetie! Hey there Joyce. Glad to hear that you had a great vacation! I feel the same as you.... it's always so good to get away from home, & it's even better to come back to it!! Things have been great, good, & horrid, all in the same holiday season. :) :(
We have a new grandson, Liam. He was born on the 29th. He is 8lbs, 19-1/2 inches long & is beautiful I've posted some pics of him. His Mama only had 1 contraction & 4 pushes before he was born. She said she is thankful for the easy delivery this time. Our Christmas was pretty good & so was our anniversary & New Years. However, not sure if you read my blog or not, but I have a ruptured eardrum, & spent Tuesday night in emergency. So, our holiday season was full of mixed blessings. But, we are definitely blessed. I want you to know that I feel so special to have you as a friend. I look forward to having some great times, to share with you, this year! Wishing you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

my mom is doing better now i'll been without internet for a day but, was glad i got back on. i had a good Christmas after all my inlaws got me gift cards an i shop like crazy on line when i got the internet back up & running! my mother in law also got me 2 pretty pink tops i love pink it's my fave color!
