My interests/hobbies are: soccer and watching a variety of sports but especially soccer. I like to relax listening to music or watching a good movie. My computer is a trusty friend and I love making new friends around the world. I am busy researching my Family Tree which is fascinating. It is like doing one big jigsaw puzzle and it is so exciting when you find one of the missing pieces! I also like to travel and so far have visited a few countries in Europe and spent a few days in the US in 2006 thanks to my work!

A BIG Thank you to JB for my awesome layout!

I am a proud supporter of our military and actively send letters/emails of encouragement and support to our brave soldiers. They do much to protect our freedom that I feel we each should let them know how much they mean to us

PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure no soldier goes unloved or is forgotten until they all come home!

MY MILITARY SUPPORT

Ever since I can remember I have loved writing letters and had a love for our military. Over the years I have had many military penpals after the Falklands war and during the first Gulf War I wrote to a number of British soldiers.
What I call my true military support didn't happen though until after 9/11 rocked the world! It made me realise how important our military are no matter what country they come from as they are all protecting my freedom! After 9/11 I became involved in some online military support groups and have had the honour of supporting numerous soldiers either for a short time or for the long haul!

Im sorry to hear its your dad who's been having problems! I will include him in my evening prayer this evening. Im equally sorry to hear about Tracey's dad. My mom had one of them last year. They put you on all sorts of meds, but they work! I hope they are able to break it up real soon and he is able to go back home. I will pray for him as well.

Yes Patrick cooks...Im kinda blown away with as it is. Im not used to having a man around that cooks..other then my brother and he doesnt count!..lol..dont tell him I said that! I think since as women it has been the expected thing for us to cook, that we are so thrilled when we find one that doesnt mind it and actually likes it. Patrick told me to stay out of the kitchen when hes cooking, he wont need my help..now I dont see an issue with that! I would give him the kitchen everyday if he wanted it!..lol

I am having such a wonderful time with Patrick. I am unable to see him during the week due to the way we both work, but the weekends are just lovely. I took on a new job at work, so my time will be a little more involved, but I told them I wouldnt work weekends since that was my time with him.I can balance a work life and a personal life too! I think I surprised him when I told him that. But I know what I like, and I like him..so...I wont budge on that one.

I am sorry for the delay in my reply but have had a busy start to the week. Also Tracey's Dad was admitted to hospital at the end of last week and they found he had a blood clot in his lung. As you can imagine she has been worried about him so I have been spending quite a bit of time with her and not much time on-line.

I am glad you spent the weekend with Patrick and it sounds like you both had a lovely time at the game! :0) Oh wow Patrick cooks too! Now, that sounds like the kinda man I need to find myself! Then I wouldn't have to worry about burning things any more! LOL

My Mum is doing OK thank you for asking. It is my Dad who is having problems with his back. He due to have a scan at the end of the month as he saw a specialist but she wasn't sure what it was. So we will have to see how things go with that.
